Bit of a turn down as New York opens but possibility of a rally for half an hour. If Greenscam comes up with money they may just ramp this overbloated Dow back up to 8000. Failure to get some sort of rally going is going to have dire consequences as Joe and Jane are going to start screaming enough is enough and pull what little they have left out of the mutual funds. These guys are low on cash so would be forced sellers. Air pocket time!!
There could well be a systemic type of problem that lops a thousand points off. That should shaft FTSE nicely. Can then get round to sifting through the wreckage.
