Research from Customs and Excise indicates that vodka is the only spirit the British are drinking more of, with a 10% increase in consumption between 1992 and 1998.
Now this can only be good news for Bar Revolution aka Investive Leisure (IVL) who have 19 bars across the country offering.....
* Over 60 imported premium vodkas from across Europe, including...
Absolut, Absolut Citron, Absolut Kurant, Absolut Peppar, Monopols, Moskovskaya, Okhotnichaya, Belvedere,
Blavod, Chopin Polstar, Cucumber, Pieprzowka, Polish Pure Spirit, Cracovia, Cytrynowka, Czarna Porzecska, Sibirskaya, Sliwowica, Smirnoff Black, Extra Zytnia,
Finlandia, Goldwasser. Smirnoff Blue, Soplica, Starka,
Jarzebiak, Krepkaya, Krolewska, Stolichnaya, Stolichnaya Cristall, Stolichnaya Raspberry, Stolichnaya Orange, Stolichnaya Vanilla, Krupnik, Kubanskaya, Luksusowa Starka, Tigoda Cranberry, Tigoda Russian Jeweller, Lanique, Lanique Rose Petal, Lanique Rebeka Kosher, Viru Valge, Wisniowka, Zubrowka, Wyborowa, Wyborowa Peach, Wyborowa Melon and Wyborowa Pineapple.
Of course you may be after a little more fun - in which case you may be tempted by one of the exclusive range of 30 infused flavoured vodkas produced at their own Vodka Factory in Manchester (i.e. Higher Margins). And what a set of flavours it is too, including a number of chololate flavours, e.g. Honeycomb chocolate, a number of spice flavoured vodkas, including the famous deadly Chilli pepper vodka, a number of fruit flavours - melon, Black cherry etc.. and a number flavoured like sweets such as Glacier mint of Rhubarb & Custard.
You may instead go for one of their selection of different martinis, one of their impressive long mixed drinks or maybe one of their splendid vodka pitchers, served in a jug to share with your mates!
Of course you could always be a ludite and opt for one of Revolutions range of fine Eastern Beers, or even more boring get a Fosters for yourself and a Breezer for the lady.
The choice is yours!
If you visit before 7 you may also want to satisfy those hunger pains. Revolution offer a range of light snacks or full hearty meals, including a range of russian specialities including their world famous goulash and borsch.
Is it any wonder the Revolution in Bristol is always packed out and always provides a great time - a friendly atmosphere, good music and even room for a jig.
Little wonder then that Investive Leisure were so bullish in their interims released in March....

IVL are expected to turn in EPS of 8.85p this year, growing by over 25% to 11.1 in 2002, thus putting the shares on a forecast P/E of under 14 - hardly expensive considering vast growth prospects and expansion plans.

In april the chairman bought 10,000 shares at 157p and 10,000 shares at 158p. Another director bought 5,000 at 154p.
