Request a password to access the Information Exchange

Access to the Hemscott.NET Information Exchange remains free, but due to abuse we have had to restrict access to those people who register with us.

Before you register, please ensure that you have read and understood the Information Exchange Rules and Disclaimer to which, by registering, you acknowledge your agreement.

In order to register, all you need to do is to supply us with a valid email address and your preferred username, then click the 'Submit' button below.

The server will then email you at the email address you specified with an automatically-generated unique password which you can use immediately.

Both the username and password will be needed in order to access the information exchange, so keep them safe. The personal information that you give when requesting a password to enable you to post messages to the Information Exchange will be held by hemscott.NET for the purposes of administration and in ordinary circumstances will be kept confidential and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 ("the DPA").

However, in accordance with the DPA, hemscott.NET may disclose those details to third parties in certain circumstances, for example if requested to do so by a lawful authority, or by someone who believes that he has a legal claim against you relating to a message posted on the Exchange (for example, for breach of confidence or copyright or for defamation) or otherwise as hemscott.NET shall notify you.
